Most companies have a humble start - think M & S and the penny bazaar. Well this company also had a small beginning - a gift of a Yixing teapot. Now we are proud to offer a good selection of quality teas, Yixing teapots, teasets and other tea related items for the discerning buyer.

Many of our current customers are converts who initially told us they didn't like tea. It was too strong, too bitter, didn't taste nice, etc., etc. Many of them just remember the tea they were given in their childhood strong flavoured builder type teas - the brussell sprout syndrome we call it. Now older,wiser and with a more mature palette many people surprise themselves by liking tea. They also appreciate there isn't just one good tea, like there isn't just one good wine or one type of coffee. This means there is probably a tea out there to suit you or several, if truth be known.The key to this isn't magic - just good quality tea leaves, water at the right temperature and the patience to let it infuse for the right time.
