H L Discovery Ltd aims to provide the best customer service that we can. Our terms and conditions are designed to help meet this aim.

1. Despatch

We aim to despatch goods with 3 working days from the date of ordering. Should an item be out of stock and we are unable to despatch with 7 days we will advise you by email as soon as possible after receiving your order and offer either a full refund or partial shipment of the order.

Items will be sent by Royal Mail First Class Post.  

2. Refunds

If any item you purchase from us fails to meet your complete approval please return it to us in the original condition within 14 days of receipt and we will give a full refund of the item's cost excluding postage costs.

Customers from the European Union are entitiled to a statutory cooling off period of 7 working days.  

3. Pricing and availability

Whilst we try to ensure our prices and stock availability are accurate although there may be occasions when these are not up to date and we reserve the right to change them without prior notice. 

The Yixing teapots are handmade and therefore bought in only small quantities and we endeavour to keep the list up to date. As each pot is handmade there will be slight variations to the photograph used for display and promotion.

Postage is calculated according to the weight of the packed item/s.

4. Customs

If you order for delivery outside the UK, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws of the country to which the item/s is/are  to be delivered and for paying all applicable customs duties,taxes and import charges.

5. Your account

If you choose to use this website you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, password and for restricting access to your computer, thereby preventing unauthorised access to your account. You agree to take responsibility for all activities that take place under your account or password. You must take all necessary steps to ensure the confidentiality and security of your password. You must inform us without unreasonable delay if you have reason to believe your password has become known to anyone else or if the password is being used or likely to be used in an unauthorised manner.

Please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct and complete and inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering. You can access and update much of the information you provided us with in the 'my account' area of the website.

H L Discovery Ltd reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.

H L Discovery Ltd will not be responsible for any loss arising from the use of this website or in repsect to the purchase of any goods.
