Yixing teapots are made from special clay found only in Jiangsu province in China. Yixing teapots are made from a lead free clay and are never glazed inside. It's believed the longer you use the pot the more it absorbs the flavour of the tea and the better it becomes. Feedback from our customers sees to indicate there is some truth in this.
